Time was short for me to take this picture, as the lovely dark blue dusk sky was rapidly disappearing and there were 20 other hockey players behind me, very keen to get training. I positioned the camera on the floor and set the exposure for the available light, which meant quite a low shutter speed. I fired the camera with the self timer, as I was holding a flash off-camera to provide a subtle amount of fill in. I really like the combinations of colours.
