This picture was shot for an interview and my brief was to get a shot of Mr Brown on the cricket pitch. It was too obvious to shoot him in the field with the stumps in the ground, so I went for a more (hopefully) abstract image. I used one of the big screens as my background, found a couple of jumpers to tie around his waist, then got him to hold the stumps in a slightly uneven way. I then shot from low down with the front element of the wide angle lens only inches from the stumps.
