This shot was taken as part of a feature on the Jersey Airport Fire Service, for which I shadowed members of Blue Watch for three days.

As the airport is opened each day at 7 o'clock in the morning, all training exercises must be carried out before this time.

I wanted to bracket my exposures for this shot to make sure I got a good picture, but I had to work fast as the fire-fighters extinguished the blaze in only a couple of minutes.
