Suzanne Langley with daughter Emily who suffered brain damage at the age of 3. Mother Suzanne
hopes she has found a way to repair the damage to her daughter, using various massage-like
techniques.
This was shot for Sunday Magazine. This was a very difficult assignment, as Emily's brain
damage was so severe it took some time before I managed to get good shots of Emily smiling.
This was essential as it was for a positive story of a mother refusing to believe the doctors
who said there was nothing they could do for Emily and going out and finding a cure herself.
