The Jersey Volleyball Association wanted to produce a momento to give to opposing teams at the
Island Games competition. They had decided on mouse mats and needed an image of both the ladies
and men's teams for printing on these.
I ruled out taking pictures of a real game, because I
couldn't guarantee that I would get a suitable shot before the deadline. This meant getting
the players together for a photo shoot in one of the sports halls. I used some studio lights
and shot at the highest sync speed I could, so that I lost detail in the distracting backgrounds.
