Local football club St Martin's FC, had arranged for premiership football team Derby County FC
to come to Jersey for a match. I was asked to shoot an image, for use on the advertising posters
and the match programme.
After consultation with the organisers, it was decided to create an
action shot using four of the local club's players. Specifically I chose two players going to
head the ball, as I thought this would look the most realistic and easiest to control.
I shot with a 400mm lens at a wide aperture in order to throw the background out of focus.
