I live in Jersey, one of the Channel Islands situated off the Cherbourg peninsula of France.
Despite its close proximity to France, Jersey is part of the British Isles.
I have been employed by the Jersey Evening Post as a full time staff photographer since 1992.
The nature of my job means that I have developed the ability to work fast (when required),
adapt to changing circumstances, meet tight deadlines, cope with difficult weather conditions,
and still deliver quality images.
I treat all people, whatever their social status, with the same level of respect I would
wish shown to me. This attitude, together with my inter personal skills, allows me to put
subjects at ease so that they can work with me, and enjoy the picture taking experience.
Although by the very nature of my job, most of my photographs have to be set up, I always
strive to make them appear as natural as possible.
As I hope my images show, I have the ability to follow briefs, and cope with a wide range
of subject matter, including news, sports, features, business and studio work.
Feel free to contact me by e-mail
with any comments or criticisms you may have about my work or this site.
